DR. HEATHER HOFMAN

Dr. Hofman specializes in the treatment of myofascial pain caused by overuse, tight or taught muscles, acute or chronic injury, and trigger points. Her specialty in myofascial pain allows her to treat conditions not only in a chiropractic standpoint, but as a holistic healer as well. From foot pain to headaches, she has the ability to assess certain biomechanical imbalances and relate those findings to the patient’s chief complaint all the while, teaching the patient and educating them on their condition as well as ways to prevent and rehabilitate injury. She is well known for assessing and successfully treating “pseudo-sciatica” in a completely non-invasive, and efficient way. Using her knowledge of how the body works and moves, she has the ability to see and truly understand the factors that attribute to injury and she uses that knowledge to treat in an effective chiropractic approach.

Before obtaining her Doctorate, Dr. Hofman received her undergraduate Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Sacramento. While obtaining her undergraduate degree she was also an active member in the Pre-Physical therapy club.

Dr. Hofman uses a diversified chiropractic approach during her treatment, applying quality procedures in order to provide the best care for her patients. Dr. Hofman uses a variety of treatment techniques such as therapeutic modalities, various muscle therapy, and sports kinesiology taping procedures in conjunction with chiropractic adjustments to help patients have relief from pain and achieve optimum health.

Dr. Hofman was a high level gymnast while growing up and very active in sports such as diving, volleyball, and track and field. She truly understands the competitive nature of athletes and also understands the urgency the athletes feel in their journey to get back on the court, field, or pool. When it comes to prevention, recovery, and management of injury, Dr. Hofman understands what her patient needs.
Dr. Hofman is also a member of the California Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Hofman is an enthusiastic Crossfit participant and enjoys training as well as treating and educating athletes on spinal health and proper biomechanics!

Dr. Hofman enjoys volunteering at athletic events within the community and sharing the power of chiropractic with people.

Dr. William Hofman specializes in non-invasive pain management utilizing the treatment of myofascial pain which is caused by the overuse of tight or taught muscles, acute or chronic injury, and trigger point formation. His specialty in myofascial pain allows him to treat conditions not only in a chiropractic standpoint, but as a holistic healer as well. From foot pain to headaches, he has the ability to assess certain biomechanical imbalances and relate those findings to the patient’s chief complaint all the while, teaching the patient and educating them on their condition as well as ways to prevent and rehabilitate injury.
